Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 364 (VMM-364) “Purple Foxes”  is  based at MCAS Camp Pendleton, CA. The “Purple Foxes” were established on September 1, 1961, and have multiple missions including vertical replenishment and search and rescue. The Purple Foxes fly the MV-22B Osprey, manufactured by Bell-Boeing.
