Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 361 (HMH-361)”Flying Tigers”  is  based at MCAS Miramar, Ca . The “Flying Tigers” were established on September 29, 2006, and have multiple missions including vertical replenishment and search and rescue. The Flying Tigers fly the MH-53E Sea Stallion helicopter, manufactured by Sikorsky Aircraft.
