History of HC-3 Pack Rats and HSC-3 Merlins

Established on 01 September 1967 at Naval Air Station (NAS) Imperial Beach. HC-3 became HSC-3 the 01 April 2005 and is still currently active as the largest Navy Fleet Replacement Squadron (FRS). HSC-3 is located at NAS North Island, Coronado, California.
