Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 363 (VMM-363) “Red Lions”  is  based at MCAS Miramar, CA. The “Red Lions” were established on June 2, 1952, and have multiple missions including vertical replenishment and search and rescue. The Red Lions fly the MV-22B Osprey, manufactured by Bell-Boeing.
