History of HSL-35 Magicians

Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Light 35 was commissioned 1974, and disestablished in 1992 on NAS North Island. Nineteen years later, it was reborn as HSM-35 on NAS North Island in May 2013 and becoming the first composite expeditionary helicopter squadron to include both the world’s most technologically advanced helicopter; the MH-60R Seahawk and the MQ-8B Fire Scout Vertical Take-off and Landing Tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (VTUAV).
